MaxGen Energy Services, the leading independent solar operations and maintenance (O&M) company in the U.S, serving a large fleet of distributed generation (DG) and utility-scale solar power plants, announced today that it has appointed solar industry executive Michael Eyman as Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Eyman will focus on building MaxGen's solar O&M business, and will work closely with customers to help them meet the increasingly complex operational needs of their portfolios. His broad experience in supply chain, construction oversight, financial modeling, and asset management will be key in making our customers successful - which is our ultimate goal."

"I'm very pleased to bring my technical expertise and O&M experience to MaxGen," noted Michael Eyman. "It's exciting to be joining a team with a focused vision of ensuring that solar becomes a mainstream and enduring component of the global energy landscape. I look forward to some amazing growth as we shape the future of solar and distributed energy though superior services and offerings delivered by the best team in the industry."

Prior to joining MaxGen Energy Services, Mr. Eyman was at SunPower where he was the Director for Business Development, and recently, the Director of Operations for the Commercial and Industrial portion of the portfolio. In addition, he was a Director of the Scholar's Funds, advising on equity and debt investments in infrastructure projects across the Americas. He served in the US Navy and Navy Reserves for 21 years and retired in 2016 at the rank of Commander.
